Intern-et Digest

A short-run community newsletter for Cloudflare’s Lisbon intern cohort, now wrapped after the end of the internship.

Problem

The Lisbon intern cohort needed a lightweight way to stay connected, share useful context, and capture reflections during a fast-moving internship experience.

My role

I created and managed Intern-et Digest as a community project alongside my product internship work.

What I produced

• Newsletter concept and recurring content structure
• Drafted and sent cohort updates
• Reflections and useful resources for interns
• Lightweight publishing workflow using my site infrastructure

Key decisions / tradeoffs

I kept the newsletter informal and time-bounded so it supported the internship community without becoming the core focus of my website or portfolio.

Outcome

The newsletter gave the cohort a small shared artifact from the internship and is now wrapped rather than actively published.

What I learned

Community projects work best when the format is simple, useful, and easy to sustain.
